TURCHI · Since 1973
Since 1973 we have built self-propelled hydraulic pile drivers in the heart of Italy. We don't chase trends — we design machines that work, last, and earn money for their owners. Every day, in over 55 countries.
OUR STORY
TURCHI Daniele SRL was founded in 1973 in Pilastro (PR), in the heart of Italy's mechanical engineering district. The idea was simple: build a pile driver one operator could take anywhere — on site, on rough ground, without cranes or extra equipment.
That idea grew into a company that today designs, builds, and supports the world's most complete range of self-propelled hydraulic pile drivers. Every machine leaves our Italian plant after hundreds of hours of design, assembly, and testing. We don't outsource core production — we believe quality is built where you can control it.
In over 53 years we have delivered hundreds of machines to construction firms, solar installers, road and agricultural contractors in more than 55 countries. We grew while staying true to one principle: build machines customers never need to send back.

OUR STORY
From the first guardrail machines to tomorrow's solar plants.
Daniele Turchi founded the company in Pilastro (PR), in Italy's mechanical engineering heartland, with a revolutionary idea: a hydraulic pile driver that moves on its own. The first machines were designed for road guardrail installation.
TURCHI pile drivers cross Italian borders. Early machines ship to Europe — Germany, France, and Spain among the first export markets.
First models for special foundations and fencing appear. TURCHI is no longer guardrail-only: the machine's versatility opens new sectors and markets.
The company achieves European certifications and adopts quality management systems. Every machine is individually tested before delivery.
Europe's solar market surge opens a new chapter. TURCHI pile drivers become the tool of choice for ground-mounted solar installers thanks to speed and precision.
Launch of 300F and 260F models with 950–1,200 J hammers, optional GPS, and masts extendable up to 6 m. Power and technology reach a new level.
Introduction of remote monitoring, radio remote control, and remote diagnostics. TURCHI machines go connected — technicians can support without being on site.
With 250+ machines delivered last year and distribution in more than 55 countries, TURCHI is today the reference for self-propelled hydraulic pile drivers worldwide.
OUR VALUES
A TURCHI machine cannot afford to stop. Every component is chosen to last; every assembly is checked twice. We aim for 100% uptime — and 98% gets us close.
Not a slogan: a fact. Design, manufacturing, assembly, and testing happen at our Italian plant. We don't offshore core work. Quality needs direct control.
We don't innovate for press releases. Every improvement — from integrated GPS to remote monitoring — comes from a real customer problem. If it doesn't help on site, it doesn't go on the machine.
Selling a machine is the start, not the end. Support within 1 hour, parts in 48h, specialist technicians across Europe. Your investment is protected for the machine's whole life.
WHERE WE ARE

Every machine starts in 3D CAD. Structural and hydraulic simulation before the first cut.
Laser cutting, robotic and manual welding, surface treatment in our in-house department.
Hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical assembly by specialist technicians.
Each machine is individually tested: full hydraulic cycle, motion, dry striking.
THE TEAM
We're not a multinational. We're a tight team of engineers, technicians, and enthusiasts who know every machine by name.
Mechanical, hydraulic, and software design — where every new machine takes shape.
Welders, assemblers, and test technicians. The hands that build every pile driver.
Sector experts who speak your language — from solar to guardrail.
Dedicated technicians who respond within 1 hour and ship parts in 48h.
"We don't build machines in series. We build machines that carry our name. And our name must be protected."
— Daniele Turchi, TURCHI Founder

Purchase or rental with operator? The right question isn't the daily cost — it's how many MW you install per year. Here's how to think about break-even in megawatts — without brochure numbers, because cost per MW depends on your ground and your piles.

Regular servicing like any machine (oils, filters, grease), plus a wear kit to keep in stock. Those working hard on tough ground spend about €7,000 a year on consumable parts. Here's what counts as routine maintenance and what's in the TURCHI 300F spare-parts kit.
